Terms of Service

Effective date: 23 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Uniso (our music catalogue and player app) and Uniso Share (the public viewer where shared music can be played), provided by Uniso Pty Ltd (ABN 76 697 814 341), trading as Uniso (“Uniso”, “we”, “us”).

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Uniso, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Uniso.

2. Accounts and eligibility

To use Studio you sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your location, to create an account.

3. Trials, subscriptions, and payments

Uniso offers a free trial followed by a paid licence, and optional storage top-ups. Current plans, pricing, and storage limits are shown on our website and at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s terms. Paid licences renew as described at purchase. We may change our prices from time to time, and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change before it applies to your next renewal. If your trial or licence lapses, your account becomes read-only: you keep access to your content but cannot upload or change it until you renew. If you would like to request a refund, contact us at support@uniso.app and we will consider your request, in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the music and other content you upload to Uniso. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, stream, and display your content solely to operate the service and to deliver the shares you create. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with others or where we are required to retain it by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Upload or share content you do not have the rights to use.
  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
  • Attempt to break, bypass, or probe the security of the service.
  • Scrape, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of Uniso.
  • Use Uniso to violate the rights of others or any applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all content you upload and share.

6. Sharing

Studio lets you create share links with controls such as public access, password protection, and expiry. You decide what to share and with whom, and you are responsible for the content you make available. Viewers may leave notes on shared tracks; you can manage and remove shares at any time.

7. Copyright and takedown requests

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content on Uniso infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@uniso.app that includes: a description of the work you say has been infringed; where the material is located on Uniso (for example, a share link); your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We will review valid notices and may remove or disable access to the content concerned. We may also suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

8. Service availability

Uniso is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We recommend you keep your own copies of any important files; we are not a backup service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Uniso and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use Uniso in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, your right to use Uniso ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and limit our liability for any loss arising from your use of Uniso. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Subject to those rights and guarantees, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to Uniso is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Uniso Pty Ltd and our officers, contractors, and licensors against any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of the content you upload or share, your use of Uniso, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party rights. This does not require you to cover loss to the extent it was caused by our own breach, negligence, or wrongful act.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that location.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of Uniso after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact us
